May 1st: Circles

Hello, sorry I am late today! Sunday craziness. Welcome to the first day of MPC! (May Poetry Challenge) Today Cheerios first hit shelves. Write a poem about circles.

Here is my entry:

A miserable continuance,

A never-ending horror,

A round-a-bout with no exit.

A bubble of everlasting movement,

Motion to last.

Nothing is more hopeless.

Yet, there is hope,

Never-ending happiness,

An everlasting friendship,

Good things can come when time is endless.

Bliss and sorrow can engulf your soul.

Please leave your entries in the comments section and I will add you in a list of entries. Good luck!

  1. Hello,
Appreciate your participation at poets rally,
Please return favor to poets who are here yet you did not reach them initially,
    Bless your day.
    Have fun!

  2. What a positive outlook..isntead of the never ending grief…its the never ending happiness 🙂 loved it..

  3. I always think that circle poems should more aptly be called spiral poems. I mean, you start in one place, and do you really end in the same place? I some ways yes, and in other ways no. Good poem. Very simple.

Thoughts? Criticism? All is welcome!
